Rooted in Tradition, Growing for the Future

For over two decades, KelRae Farm has been bringing fresh, locally grown produce to the Williamsburg area. What started as a family legacy has blossomed into a thriving farm, market, and food hub—connecting the community with the best in farm-fresh goodness. Come visit, shop, and experience the heart of local farming!

Welcome to KelRae Farm

KelRae Farm has been proudly growing and selling fresh produce since 2001. Owned and operated by Randy and Michelle Gulden, our farm is rooted in family history and a passion for fresh, local food. The land was originally farmed by Randy’s great uncle, Henry M. “Buck” Hazelwood, who supplied fresh produce to the Williamsburg area for many years. Randy grew up working alongside his great uncle on Hazelwood Farm and later inherited the land, continuing the legacy of farming in the family.

In 2001, KelRae Farm was born—named after the Guldens’ two oldest daughters (with two more joining the family in later years!). What started as a part-time endeavor quickly grew into a full-time farming career, earning a strong reputation in the Williamsburg, James City, and York County areas. Today, KelRae Farm is known for its locally grown, farm-fresh produce, including a variety of greens, vegetables, melons, sunflowers, and fresh free-range eggs.

Visitors can shop for freshly harvested produce at our Market Store right on the farm, where they can also experience a real working farm in action. We are also a proud vendor at the Williamsburg Farmers Market every Saturday in season and offer a CSA program, providing members with fresh, local produce throughout the growing season.

Committed to supporting local farmers and producers, we expanded our mission in March 2020 with the launch of the KelRae Farm Food Hub—an online farmers market connecting the community with over 40 local producers. Offering everything from fresh produce and flowers to seafood, baked goods, and soups, the food hub allows customers to shop conveniently online and pick up their orders weekly at the farm. Open year-round, it’s a one-stop shop for fresh, local goodness.

We invite you to visit KelRae Farm, explore our Market Store, and experience the beauty of farm-fresh living. For more information about our farm, CSA program, or Food Hub, click below.
